Our entry film acting classes are called Core. Core classes are recommended for all skill levels and ages. Film Acting is a dynamic skill, which requires actors to develop skills in listening, voice, spatial awareness, and creative improvisation. These classes take our students beyond acting to ask ourselves important questions about our feelings and emotions. We aim to learn acting through understanding ourselves and others through developing intrinsic skills of reflection, empathy, and awareness.
Core Classes cover all of the fundamentals of acting including drama exercises, theory, memorized script work, and improvisation. Students will learn the ins and outs of acting for the camera including how to perform on a film set.
NOTE: Core classes conclude with the On-Set Experience where students will have their final scene filmed on a real set. Scenes will be edited and presented at the end of term premiere!
