Ages 11-13
CORE
The Core Class for Ages 11-13 is a challenging and productive environment for creative youth. This is a comprehensive class that touches on auditioning, scene work, drama exercises, and some practical components of filming. The content of scene work (while always age appropriate) becomes more mature. Topics of empathy, embodiment, spatial awareness, morality, and mental health come in to focus as we tackle scripts from various genres. We begin to really delve into the theoretical components of acting to help outline a process for auditioning and scene work.
Homework for this class extends beyond memorization of lines and includes prep work taught in class. This class is for those looking for a fun, but intensive class!
