Schools Out. The sun is shining and EFS summer camp has begun. The morning started with energy and introduction games. That sure woke the kids up! Next we focused on the most important part of the day – learning how to act in “Acting 101”.

They learned all about eye-lines and blocking and everything in between all in the time span of an hour. Later on we learned the 5 steps to how movies are made and the “do’s” and “don’ts” of auditioning.

We even set up our own “mock” auditions! Students had a chance to get in front of the camera and behind the monitor to try their hand at casting. After a brief break, the students started writing the script for their very own film that we’re making later this week!

It was a great day filled with a lot of learning and FUN! That’s a wrap for day one. We’re off to Shaw tomorrow, so stay tuned!
