UPCOMING SESSIONS
FALL SESSION (Start Date: September 23, 2023)
Our 10 week Fall Session runs from September – December. The Fall Session includes Scene Work, Mock Auditioning, Improv, and the On-Set Experience which gives students the opportunity to feel what it is like to act on three realistic sets.
WINTER SESSION (Start Date: January 6, 2024)
Our 10 class Winter Session runs from January – March. The Winter Session includes Scene Work, Mock Auditioning, Improv, and the Movie-Making Experience where every class creates their very own ‘short’ film.
PLEASE NOTE:Â All Winter Sessions Classes will have 6 regular classes and 2 double length classes for filming. Please view the schedule before registering.
SPRING SESSION (Start Date: April 28, 2024)
Our 6 week Spring Session runs from April – June. The Spring Session includes Scene Work, Mock Auditioning, Improv, and the Develop-a-Character Experience where each student plays a unique character over a 6 part story arc.
FILM CLASSES
CORE
Our entry film acting classes are called Core. Core classes are recommended for all skill levels and ages. Film Acting is a dynamic skill, which requires actors to develop skills in listening, voice, spatial awareness, and creative improvisation. These classes take our students beyond acting to ask ourselves important questions about our feelings and emotions. We aim to learn acting through understanding ourselves and others through developing intrinsic skills of reflection, empathy, and awareness.
Core Classes cover all of the fundamentals of acting including drama exercises, theory, memorized script work, improvisation, and auditioning. Students will learn the ins and outs of acting for the camera including how to perform on a film set and how to prepare for a real audition.Â

CORE LEVEL 2
Step into the spotlight and elevate your film acting skills with Core Level 2! Building upon the comprehensive foundation established in our Core classes, this next-level experience delves deeper into the art and craft of acting, introducing you to a world of new concepts and techniques.
Embark on a transformative journey as we explore the realms of method acting, repetition exercises, and the profound impact of relaxation techniques. In Core Level 2, we unlock the door to a deeper understanding of character development and emotional truth, empowering you to deliver performances that resonate with audiences.
This class goes beyond the surface, encouraging you to dig deep within yourself and unravel the complexities of human emotions. Through the exploration of method acting, you’ll learn to embody characters with unwavering authenticity, tapping into the depths of your own experiences and empathy to breathe life into every role.
Additionally, Core Level 2 presents a curated selection of new exercises and games that will ignite your creativity and challenge your artistic boundaries. Discover innovative approaches to improvisation, refine your improvisational skills, and uncover fresh avenues of artistic expression.

ADVANCED ACTING
Our Advanced Acting class that is designed for students who wish to pursue acting professionally or wish to be pushed to the next level of their own abilities. This intensive class will provide students with the training and preparation beyond our normal classes.
Admission to Advanced Acting is by application only. Students can apply directly on our website.

COMPANY
Our highest level class for our most dedicated students. This class is for students who have shown a clear understanding of the acting fundamentals, set etiquette and a proven dedication to the craft. Students in Company can expect to spend more class time dedicated to filming scenes/auditions, creating shorts, and performing on camera as much as possible. Students in Company will together to help create their very own web series.

FILMMAKING
In Filmmaking, we dive headfirst into the exciting world of cinema, equipping you with the fundamental skills and techniques necessary to produce captivating films. From the initial spark of inspiration to the final cut, we cover it all. You’ll embark on a journey of discovery, mastering brainstorming techniques to unleash your creativity and develop unique storylines that resonate with audiences.
Script writing becomes second nature as we delve into the art of crafting compelling narratives. You’ll learn to structure your stories, develop multi-dimensional characters, and build engaging plots that leave a lasting impact. Through in-depth movie analysis, we’ll dissect films, exploring the visual and narrative choices that make them successful, inspiring you to elevate your own storytelling prowess.
Get hands-on with all kinds of filmmaking equipment, mastering the tools of the trade. From cameras and lighting rigs to sound equipment, you’ll gain a deep understanding of how to effectively utilize each component to enhance your storytelling. Dive into the realm of cinematography, exploring composition, camera movements, and visual aesthetics to capture breathtaking visuals that immerse viewers in your world.
But we don’t stop at theory alone. “Filmmaking” is designed to be a practical experience, providing you with real-world opportunities to collaborate and create. Through practical filmmaking exercises, you’ll work as a team, bringing scripts to life and honing your skills in directing, sound design, lighting, and editing. We foster an environment of collaboration, emphasizing effective communication and the art of working with actors to capture authentic performances that resonate on screen.

THEATRE CLASSES
Theatre & Improv
Theatre & Improv is our all NEW drama focused class where students learn important acting skills through improv. This class will use various drama exercises and games to improve skills such as confidence, listening, improvisation, analytical skills, and physicalization. Students will work throughout the session on a scene that will be presented live to friends and family on the final class. If your favourite part of class is drama games and improvising scenes then this is the class for you. This class has minimal memorization and script work.
This class is geared to be fun, high energy, and interactive. All skill levels are welcome and will find acting and personal growth opportunities.

WORKSHOPS
Expressions workshops are designed for all levels of actors. Each workshop is designed to promote creativity and push actors to new heights. We pride ourselves on innovation in teaching techniques, so be prepared for new and exciting things!
